1. What is the cost of studying abroad?

The costs of studying abroad will differ, depending on the country of study, course, family size, cost of living in the country and lifestyle The major determinant is the choice of country of study

2. When should I begin the application process for study?

The best time to contact us is in your student's final year in high school. For mature students, you can contact us anytime as soon as you get the nudge to study abroad. It is best to start early ahead of admission deadlines. The application process can seem like a tedious and lengthy one; you should start to prepare for your application at least 6 months in advance. To make this process smooth, you can speak to any of our advisors.

3. Can I work while studying abroad?

Yes, Students are eligible to work a minimum 20hrs per week. The study permit issued at the PoE usually authorizes the student to work both on and off campus. It is best to check the conditions stated on your permit in your country of study. Possessing industry-related experience would make your resume stand out and boost your employability after you graduate.

4. How do I save money when studying abroad?

Studying abroad can be expensive; there are many scholarships and financial aid services available for you to apply for. In addition to that, you can:

5. What is the duration of courses abroad?

A bachelor’s degree would typically last for 3-4 years. Normally, a master’s degree would last for 1.5-2.5 years and a Ph.D would take 3.5 years. Graduate Diplomas and Certificates are usually 1-2 years. College Diplomas are mostly 2 years.

6. What scholarships am I eligible for?

7. Where should I live during my stay overseas?

You can consider on-campus or off-campus accommodation for your duration of study overseas. There are many options available for each university and your decision should revolve around the type of lifestyle you want to experience.

8. Can I get a permanent resident permit (PR) after study abroad?

Yes, depending on the country of study. Canada, UK, and Australia have a postgraduate work permit issued to graduates. The length of the permit is usually dependent on the length of the study. This allows graduates to become qualified to apply for permanent residency through the various schemes and pathways these countries offer.
